Scots Opens the Rose Bay Early Years Centre

The Scots College celebrated the opening of the Rose Bay Early Years Centre on Thursday 16 May. Mayor Andrew Petrie officiated the opening. Mayor Andrew Petrie was pleased to open the new facility and remarked on the traditions and longevity of the College which celebrates 120 years of establishment this year.

Principal Dr Ian PM Lambert said, "The opening of the Rose Bay Early Years Centre marks an exciting new chapter in the College's history. It is here where future generations of Scots boys will begin their journey to brave hearts and bold minds. Here their natural curiosity in the world will be nurtured, helping them grow into fine young men."

The Centre offers long day care options for working parents and specialises in the nurture and education of three and four year old boys through a play based learning framework informed by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
